"Cindy"
(Ch. Wards Creek's Extreme Commitment X
Reagtime Southcross Kick It Up)
This little girl is our first TRACKING DOG (TD) title here at Southcross! While Cindy's grandfather Chase is an outstanding working dog and has a great nose, this little girl took it to a whole NEW level of accomplishment! She achieved her AKC Tracking Dog title at the tender age of 11 months!
Her proud owner says, "She is an independent thinking little girl and does not hold a grudge if given a correction of any kind. It took Cindy three days to figure out what her nose was for when I started teaching her to track last fall. After that she was ready to go track when the harness was buckled on. She never once failed to track and always thought it was great fun to find the strange articles in the fields... Cindy is an honest worker and gives 110 percent all the time. She doesn't care if it's tracking, obedience, or our daily walk around the neighborhood; she is ready to go and always wants to please me. I can't wait to start agility training with her....".
Finished her requirements for the Versatile Companion Dog One title on Easter Sunday at the St. Louis Agility Dog Club's trial. To acquire the VCD1 title with the AKC you must have a CD (Companion Dog-obedience), TD (Tracking Dog), NA (Novice Agility) and NAJ (Novice Agility Jumpers) titles. Cindy is the 4th Miniature Schnauzer registered with the AKC to have a VCD1. Cindy is the 3rd Miniature Schnauzer that owner and trainer Sharon Bloss has put a VCD1 title on.
We are so proud of Cindy and her 'mom' for their dedication and accomplishments!
